Individually formed, painted and signed by the artist, Marino Moretti ceramics are each captivating works of art.  His techniques and glazes vary from piece to piece and the influence of Medieval art is unmistakable in the otherwise modern aesthetic.  Great attention is paid to the balance of motif with form, and colors range from bold & primary to neutral & monochromatic.  Working in a partially restored 9th century villa near Orvieto, Moretti takes inspiration from the beauty and history around him but adds his own interpretation in the most remarkable ways.
